Doug has considerable experience with international programs in Europe, Asia and the Middle East. He represented the United States as Team Chief for two overseas Mobile Training Teams in the Republic of Korea and the Republic of China (Taiwan). He also served as an Exchange Officer with the Spanish Air Force in Seville, Spain, and is fluent in Spanish. As an academic instructor, he developed and taught advanced courses in the theory and practice of air combat. He also developed analytical methodology and wrote textbooks for the USAF Fighter Weapons School. He has written, contributed to and presented various technical papers and presentations at AIAA, IEEE and other technical conferences. He participated in an AGARD Working Group investigating knowledge-based applications for guidance and control and contributed to the final written report (AGARD-CP-474).
